Well the New Year is here, and I am continuing to heal. While progress is slow, I can feel slight signs of improvement. I actually can take the dog for a walk (or hobble, at times) so that is something good. Tonight I went for 1.25 miles - not great but a start. We are getting rain here all week, weird for AZ. I had thought of going to the Barrett-Jackson car auction this week, but with a sore ankle and sloppy weather, will just watch it on Speed Channel and save the money. Not that I am dong a great job of saving $$$ right now. As a present to myself for keeping after the physical therapy, I just committed to buy a little toy to celebrate and keep myself focused on the grand prize - walking normally again.
